Trinity slowly opened the door to her house. It was raining, a turrentl downpour, but she barely even noticed she was soaked to the bone. Ordinarilly, she would have taken a bus home, but she had something occupying her mind that pushed out any rational thoughts...
Without bothering to take her shoes or jacket off, she slumped onto the couch. Roxas padded over and curled up next to her despite the fact that she appeared to have jumped in a pool. That boy. She hadn't been able to save him. He'd died today...and the rain. The cursed rain just kept falling down like so many tears. Tears she'd become incapable of crying.
"Why...?" was all she managed to squeek, curling up in a ball.
Why hadn't she been able to save him?
((Wow. Second topic and I already lay on the angst. I need to learn to be happier. >_O;;))

Call it intuition, or maybe it was just that Shigure was feeling like he owed Trinity for bringing him those muffins, but he stood outside of her door step, an umbrella over his head in attempt to keep from drowning in the rain. He had a bag in his arms of extra food that Tohru had made (because he couldn't cook to save his life) and figured that Trinity might appreciate the offer. With a slightly nervous cough, he rapt his knuckles against her door.

Trinity jumped slightly at the sound of a knock on the door. The last thing she'd expected was company...Standing up forced Roxas off her lap and the fox made a noise that clearly indicated he didn't like having his seat pulled from under him, however soggy that seat may be. Walking to the door she hadn't bothered to lock, she opened it.
"Sh-Shigure-san! What're you doing here?" she asked, immediately putting a smile on. "Oh, never mind that...get in here before you catch cold out in the rain!"
Trinity stepped aside, making room for him to come in.
((He's like...Lassie. "What's that boy? There's a girl getting all emo in her house?" xDDD))

Shigure blinked for a moment, idly wondering to himself why Trinity looked like a few thousand gallons of water looked like they had been dumped on her head when she was inside, though he kept a cheerful smile on his face as she opened the door. "I brought food!" He said simply, as if it was normal for Japanese people to show up at your doorstep with bags of food in their arms.
He hurried inside quickly and shook himself off like the Dog he was, looking a little sheepish once he realized what he was doing. "If you don't mind me saying, Trinity, but you look more likely to catch a cold than I do." He said, that silly smile still plastered on his face.
((Hah, that's his mission in life. To put an end to all emoness! XP))

Trinity laughed slightly at his habit of getting straight to the point as she closed the door behind him.
"That's very thoughtful of you. You can make yourself at hom, though...I'd watch out for that spot on the couch. It's kinda damp." Trinity said.
Roxas hid behind his owner as Shigure proceeded to shake himself like a dog, wanting to avoid the droplets of water. The small fox liked things warm and dry, especially on rainy days like this. Trinity stared at Shigure a moment, contemplating an answer for his statement. She grinned sheepishly.
"Oh, well...see, I missed the bus after work and I walked home. I just got in, so I'm kinda wet." she said.
It wasn't entirely a lie. She had missed the bus...it had just been on purpose. And sh had just gotten in. Ehm...
