Christa pulled her hair into a ribbon behind her head to keep it from whipping her face in the strong wind. She looked up towards the grey sky above her to look at the dark clouds in the distance. Despite the cover off sun, it was a rather warm day, which resulted in her wearing a while middrift sleeve blouse and casually black slacks, her black boots carrying her thin form along easily. Just as she turned the corner, it began to downpour.
Christa jumped quickly under an over hang and sweatdropped in annoyance, her now sopping wet hair clinging to her face. With a sigh, she turned into the closest shop she saw, a clothes shop to be precise. I guess I could get something here to get me home in. she thought and looked around. From another's point of view, she looked like a wet rat. Her black slacks were clinging tightly to her thin legs, her soaking wet hair now strung across her eyes, and her shirt now practically see through. She groaned in annoyance and looked around in hopes of some assistance.

Hatori had been checking up on Ayame who now was in the backroom with that annoying assistant of his. God that woman was annoying and clingy. He had had to step aside more than once to avoid getting glomped by the hyper female. Last thing he needed was to have to erase her memory. How Ayame could work with her was beyond him, then again, they were pretty much the same when it came to personality. The man looked up as he saw a woman in the store and blinked. "Hello there, miss. Are you here to see Ayame or something?" he asked.

Hatori: It'll become water, of course. . .
Kana: Wrong! It becomes spring!

Christa looked up and smiled, embarrased. "Actually, I was walking home when it started to pour, I was hoping I could get a coat or something to get home in." she replied and took in the man in front of her. He was handsome but she wanted to know his name...and who was Ayame? "I just moved back here from Germany, after my parents died, I was sent over there for mercinary training." she said with a small smile.

"Ah. Well, I'd keep away from anything made in this store." Hatori replied, walking over calmly and looking down at her, briefly looking out of the window to see how badly it was raining. Quite badly. He sighed, if he called Ayame out he'd probably harrass the woman, like he did with every pretty girl he saw. "Even if you do get a coat, you'll get soaked if you go outside now. . ." he said, looking down at her again with his calm eyes.

She shrugged, "True," she said and her smile widened slightly he mentioned to stay away from anything in this shop. "Do you think it's okay if I wait here until the rain slows?" She asked and pulled her black hair off her neck, tying it up in a messy bun. "May I have the honor of your name?" she asked with a smile.

"My name is Hatori Sohma." Hatori replied shortly, putting his hands into his pockets. The doctor knew that she'd get sick if she went outside now and she'd probably get sick of Ayame too. "If you want I can drive you home." He said. He wouldn't usually do that for someone outside of the family, but it was better than to leave the girl to the 'sharks' named Ayame and his dear assistant Mine.

"My parents used to be business partners with a Sohma. I'm Christa Leora, though most people know me as Christa Nox." she replied and offered a smile. "If you want I can drive you home." "That would be nice...thanks." she said politly and waited for him to move towards the door for her to follow.

Hatori took his jacket off and placed it around Christa's shoulders so she wouldn't get too wet on the way to the car. He then walked over to the door and forced it open despite the strong wind. He then looked back at Christa. "Just follow me. My car isn't far from here."

She nodded and gratefully nodded to him as he wrapped his coat around her. "Thanks." she replied and followed him obediantly. She liked this guy, he was caring and trust, handsome as hell was to say the least. Christa's bangs came out of the bun and whipped at her pale face, and she looked ahead to keep her eyes on the doctor.

Hatori looked back at her for a moment. She was very trusting, something that seemed to be rare these days. It wasn't like he was planning to do anything, it was just that it was very rare for someone to be able to trust a stranger now a days. He turned again, then walked out, keeping to door open for her to follow.

Christa followed, muddy hazel eyes on the doctor ahead of her. It was too quiet, she hated walking with someone and it being silent. "So." she said over the howling wind, "what exactly do you do, Mr. Sohma?" she asked, purely interested. "You don't look like a designer."

"I'm a doctor. Ayame, the owner of the shop, is a designer." Hatori replied as he led Christa to the car and unlocked the front doors, then went over to the passenger side and opened the door for her. "Come on now. Quickly so we don't get more soaked."

Christa smiled and quickly climbed inside, looking over at him with a nod of thanks. Not much of a talker is he? she thought and watched as he climbed in the other side. He didn't seem much like he wanted to talk to her either, but he had been nothing but kind to her. Quickly she noted that her house was up the street and described it before looking out the window.
